Our Founder Izania Downie CMInstD is a Chartered Director offering Independent Director services. She is a specialist in Incorporated Societies and provides Board advisory services to clubs and associations on how to meet and adhere to the requirements of the changes in the Incorporated Societies Act.
Organisations have until April 2026 to re-register under the new Act at which date if they do not re-register they will cease to exist as a legal entity. Some organisations are choosing to change to a charitable trust, there are pros and cons to both options. Izania can lead your board through an education session on the requirements of the board under the new act, she can also help you to re-write your constitution in accordance with the act and make changes to board and management processes and procedures for compliance to the act.
Our Founder Izania Downie is available to join Boards as an Independent Director. She has experience on many association boards in the UK and in NZ. She is experienced at leading discussions at Board level and managing voluntary committee members, additionally she provides advisory services to Chairs, Presidents and CEOs/Managers of Associations.
Izania is an experienced business coach and mentor. She will work with you and your Board or Senior Leadership team to establish or review your goals and guide you through the strategy development process. She provides guidance/advisory services and mentoring for clients where needed on a project or ongoing basis.
